About the artist

Alexandra Higgins is an oil painter and singer-songwriter whose work is inspired  by the beauty of nature, gardens, and the human experience.  Through her original oil paintings, she captures moments of quiet connection, blending natural landscapes with a sense of emotion and story.  

I am an artist drawn to the quiet beauty in everyday life-gardens in bloom, shifting light, and moments that often go unnoticed.  Painting allows me to slow down and really see the world, and through my work I hope to share that sense of presence and connection with others.  

Alongside painting, music is a another way I express myself as a singer -songwriter, and both art forms influence  how I see and interpret the world.  I'm constantly exploring ways to translate feeling into form-whether through color, light or sound.
