About the artist

Alexandra Higgins is an oil painter and singer-songwriter whose work is inspired  by the beauty of nature, gardens, and the human experience. Through her original oil paintings and heartfelt music, she captures moments of connection, emotion, and storytelling--inviting viewers and listeners into a world shaped by color, melody and memory.  

I am an artist drawn to the quiet beauty in everyday life-gardens in bloom, shifting light, and moments that often go unnoticed.  Painting allows me to slow down and truly see the world around me, and through my work I hope to share that sense of presence and connection with others.  

Alongside painting, music is an another way I express myself as a singer -songwriter.

 These two art forms influence the way I experience and interpret the world.  I am continually exploring ways to translate emotion into form-whether through color, light or sound.
